According to CNET, Myspace will be laying off almost 30% of their staff. The cuts will be nearly 500 positions in total out of a workforce of approximately 1500 workers. Myspace has been challenged lately by Facebook’s rapid growth both domestically and internationally. It is describing the layoff as a “return to start-up culture.”
